Escape ES 1.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 66,250 miles

Brought the car to an A.S.E. certified tech. Inspected the cv axle, both sides, but there were no leaks from the cv boots. The tech thinks that it may be a transmission issue. He stated that he has read that this is an ongoing problem with Ford Escapes. Is there any validity to his statement?
