Escape Titanium 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,200 miles

FORD Dealership stated that the rear differentials in the 2017 models were defective and had been corrected for the 2018 model; however some of the "left over" 2017 Diffs were erroneously installed in some 2018 & 2019 models. Full replacement with NEW Diff and NO CHARGES :) Since then I've registered > 35,000mi and have not had one problem with my 2019 Escape! Love the SUV and its Intelligent 4wd.

Update from Aug 21, 2021: Ford dealership found problem immediately; a 2017 rear end was installed erroneously in my 2019; Ford replaced the rear end with 2019 edition and all's been GREAT with this Escape which now has 43,000 miles on it. Wife and I love this car and will buy another Ford no problem. CDR Mel
