Vehicle started idling roughly and making a loud sound. It was repaired by a "Ford Certified" mechanic for $2700. Apparently a difficult repair as the mechanic said the water pump "is in the middle of the engine" and many things had to be removed to reach the water pump. There was another major repair that came after that, I will report on another complaint per instructions of this website. I usually buy Honda's or Toyota's, but took a chance on Ford because I liked the way it looked and liked the "gadgets" it came with. But a $2700 repair at 30,000 miles?? Come on. I will never buy another American car again.
