THIS PRICE IS AN ESTIMATE .

I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO SCHEDULE THE REPAIR YET AND I CAN SEE THE RIGHT FRONT DOOR IS STARTING WITH 1 HOLE THAT MATCHES THE 3 HOLES ON THE DRIVERS DOOR.

THIS IS A DEFECT BECAUSE THEY CHANGED THE WELD OR RIVET ON THE 2022 MODEL THIS SHOULD BE HANDLED BY FORD NOT ME

I am reading about a faulty tack weld - the service advisor states it must have happened where wind blew the door open - or someone hit me - or I hit something --- BUT there is absolutely no damage to my car and it was in service at this dealership on the 27th when the problem presented itself - never before that date!

I have emailed my complaint into the district manager - waiting to hear back - but wanted it noted with the others here!!!

Ford refuses to cover the cost of repair. There are multiple complaints about faulty tack welds on the drivers door. I have been told by multiple Ford dealers that the only fix is a new door.

I have had this car 1.5 years and I opened the driver's side door and heard a popping noise. I took it to the dealership and they said the hinge was broken and would not be covered by my extended warranty, and that I had to take it to a body shop. Why in the heck would this not be covered? I didn't have a wreck, the wind didn't catch the door - it just broke. I am not impressed with Ford's service so far...

The door will not shut - it swings wide open. A tack weld broke on hinge.
