My car has only 50,000 miles on it. I took it to the dealership for an oil change, and they reported that the rear suspension shocks are leaking. I was only two months out of warranty at this moment.

The contact owns a 2020 Ford Escape. The contact stated while driving approximately 20-?"40 MPH, the vehicle was vibrating abnormally. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who informed the contact that the vehicle was working as designed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who completed a test drive and informed the contact that the vehicle was in ECO Mode and recommended driving the vehicle in SPORT Mode. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 18,000.

I bought the car in February, 2021. 11 months later the rear shocks had both failed and were replaced by dealer on 01/13/2022, at 9572 miles. One year later the shocks have again failed! Ford has refused to cover them under warranty, claiming that shock failure in one year is normal wear. This is a severe safety issue that affects vehicle handling and it needs to be addressed.

November 18, 2022 had my car for 22 months when I took it for oil change I reported a noise when turning the steering wheel. Ford mechanics decided it the front shocks. Part # LX6Z18124EQ was ordered at that time. As of today 3/8/2023 it is still on back order. The noise is getting louder. I have been in contact with Ford which has expedited the part about 3 - 4 weeks ago. Still not at dealership. I have never had so much problems with a new car. Ford denied the buy back or lemon law for FL stating it was after the 24 month warranty which is false. I-??m wondering what else can I do if anything.
