I entered the driver seat of my 2022 Ford Escape SE and closed the drivers door. I pushed in the brake and pushed the button to start the engine. Immediately the rear passenger side window rolled down without me activating the switch. I then could not roll the window back up. I turned off the car and started it again and tried the switch to roll it up but it didn-??t work. I left the car running, exited the driver seat and walked around to the rear passenger door to activate the switch but the window would not roll up. I confirmed the child safety lock on the rear windows were not activated. I contacted the dealership and was told this is an issue that the regularly have people bring their vehicles in for.

I don't do much interstate/expressway driving but after an 80 mile trip yesterday, my ears last night had tinnitus hiss and it continues today, The sound inside the car was a continuous loud medium high-pitched sound. This vehicle's engine is noisy as you pick up speed but not unacceptable. This sound was eminating from the road and amplified through the vehicle chassis and interior driving chamber and easily cancelled out any noise coming from the engine compartment. This sound was high enough that a horn or siren could be canceled out unless right on a tight perimeter of the car.

I have a 2022 ford escape ecoboost I was going the freeway so put it on faster drive, push button it started to go then at maybe about 35 mph it jerked us all back and fourth my car gear went from drive to neutral and car lost power on the freeway ! I had my [XXX] nephew with me and my [XXX] old mom who was jerked back and forth ! Thank god for seatbelts ! I don-??t know what to do called ford and have to take care in to see what could have caused this problem ! I hate the dealership I go to !and need to find a place that-??s honest about what-??s happening ! Had to pull over and try to come off freeway. I live in ca, u dont get a police report unless there is a major accident or major hurt, cops don-??t come for these kind of things. And it just happened again for the 2nd time, 1st time it happened about 1 year into owning the car, I thought maybe I did something wrong ! But now I know I didn-??t, told ford before but nothing was done about it INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Issue 1: Car is currently @ dealership for recall 23E09 Emissions. Dealership is currently unable to resolve error codes and reset, they believe due to a bad battery, car has less than 15k on it. They are obtaining a new battery. This recall has net even made it into your database yet. Issue 2: The more concerning issue, Safety recall notice 23S27 / NHTSA Recall dated May 26, 2023, of which we were notified of in June 2023 still has not been resolved. After several attempts to obtain information from the dealership and Ford itself we have not been able to determine if or when a repair may be approved. This is very concerning because of the nature of the recall and the potential for harm to any passengers. This is the third recall since our purchase, the first recall # 22S47 (under the hood Fire) was supposedly corrected by the dealership on 01/26/22. I hope you agree the safety recall (23S27) is of utmost importance based on the devastating potential it has. I do not believe I'm being unreasonable by expecting a resolution to this issue in a timely manor, we are are just over 3 months away from a year since the recall was issued.

I want to know why there has been no remedy for the 23V380 recall. A remedy was anticipated in October 2023. Also, I got notice of a new recall Ford campaign #23E09 regarding reprogramming the PCM for emissions. When I enter 23E09 on your Web site it takes me to the 23V380 recall. Are they related? Either way Ford is still saying there is no remedy yet for either.

When parked and shut off the car rolled backwards about 6 inches when the door was opened. This happens when returning to the parked car and the door is opened from the outside. It has happened twice. It also happened once when being unplugged from the level 1 charging unit. The dealer was unhelpful, based on the infrequent nature of the incident and inability to reproduce it.

The fire risk in the engine compartment recall has been issued for this vehicle since May 2023. The remedy is supposed to be available by Oct 2023. Yet at my recent visit to the dealer for the recall repair in Dec 2023 revealed that no remedy is available. The owner of this vehicle is forced to operate the vehicle with the risk of catastrophic engine failure and subsequent fire. It is a major safety concern.

I have a foot operated lift gate and I constantly have to find the exact spot for it to open. Twice it lifted and while I was putting groceries in the back it came back down on me. The first time in smacked the back of my head and left a big knot. The second time it caught my shoulder and then I was able to get out of the way. I thought if the lift gate touched something coming down that it would go back up. It is a 2022 and does not even have 3000 miles on it. No I have not contacted the dealer. I have been extremely ill and it slipped my mind. Thank you very much for a quick reply.

The middle hinge of front door has broke off inside the door and has my window -??pinched-?? and no longer able to be rolled up or down. Occasionally the rod that is broken off will prevent me from closing my door all the way and will come unhinged going down the road. Was 500 miles over warranty (took me a few days to bring it in due to getting a day off approved) and FORD says it-??s $2500 to fix their safety flaw.

I have been without my new car since January 10, 2023 due to a design flaw in the Ford Escape Plug in Hybrid. Their inadequate undercarriage protection Ford is putting their owners at financial risk, and costing Federal and state taxpayers for a flawed product. Ford Escape Plug in Hybrid undercarriage protection is not made of a durable material. You have maybe expected plastic or metal in the past. Now it is a fabric material that I call -??Fordboard-??, that tears and leaves the highly sensitive electronic and the hybrid battery open for damage. This happened to me in the January 2023 storms in Southern California. I have been without my new car for two months because, not only is the undercarriage not durable, but Ford refuses to divert replacement batteries for repair but continues to make the new cars so they can continue to make a profit with the help of Federal and State tax dollars. I was counting on gas savings with the electric vehicle in order to help pay for the car payment. I now have to pay full gas prices as well as the car payment. I bought the car because our family needed to expand our vehicles. I spent extra on this car to help reduce my carbon emissions. There are now more carbon emissions because of this which is contrary to why there are tax credits. Ford is gathering huge profits as a result of the changes to the tax credits, they are one of a handful of cars that are eligible. If they can-??t fix damaged cars, then the tax credits aren-??t helping. Ford refuses to warranty the situation. Ford refuses to pay for a loaner or rental car. Ford rejected my requests for financial assistance. I request help to do the following: 1)I want Ford to divert a battery assembly from the new car manufacturing to my car so I can have my car. 2)I want Ford to replace the -??Fordboard-?? undercarriage on my car with something more durable so I don-??t have to worry about this ever again The consumer is requesting an update and response to the complaint.

Check manual light with orange wrench popped up. I checked my Ford Pass app and it said there was a high voltage fault. To contact a dealer immediately. But I can't even put it in neutral for a tow truck because the transmission is locked in some sort of safe mode. I think it is a part of the recall with high voltage battery failures.
