Escape Hybrid

The coolant pump for my Ford escape 2007 hybrid has given me a failure code several times. I had it diagnosed then wanted to order the part and was told that I was number 800 on the backorder list for this part. I contacted Ford and they referred everything back to the dealer(of course whom I had already spoken with) it is a Ford problem for the backorder not a dealer problem. If I am number 800 on the backorder list what type of a problem do they have. The part number is 5M6Z 8C419 a.
