Escape Hybrid

The contact owns a 2009 Ford Escape hybrid. While driving approximately 35 mph, the contact depressed the brake pedal and noticed the pedal had fallen into the floor board. The brake light illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact continued to depress the brake pedal until the vehicle came to a stop. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostics but the technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 101,000.
