Escape Hybrid

The contact owns a 2009 Ford Escape hybrid. While driving at a low speed and attempting to park with the brake pedal depressed, the vehicle accelerated independently. As a result, the contact crashed into the front of another vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 95,000.
