Everest 3 litre

  • Manual transmission

I bought the Everest after I took it for a test drive and were very impress with the performance over the 2.5 TD 4X4 Mazda Drifter I used to have. I used to tow my Jurgens Explorer all over the show with it.

How big was my disappointment when I hooked up my Explorer only to find that the spare wheel at the back is to low. The hand brake of the explorer is knocking the spare wheel plastic cover. Ford needs to address that problem. I have a big family and enjoy the 7 seater That is why I need to tow either my 4X4 trailer or caravan when I go away for a weekend. I am an explorer and love going to the bush. That was the purpose of purchasing the vehicle. I love my time in the Everest but am very disappointed in the way the spare wheel was designed.
