2000 Ford Excursion recall was never done. Allan Vigil Ford in Clayton County GA disconnected my airbag, horn, and cruise control. They stated that a part was on order to complete the recall. We checked up on this over and over and over, the part was always "on order". This part was never installed/replaced on my car and the three things that were disconnected were never re-connected. Yet, they reported it as competed. This was 2010 I believe. Ford shows this recall as "complete", however it is not. We called Allan Vigil Ford recently, however no one will return our calls.

The vehicle towed to an impound yard. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 187,000.

The seat belts did not secure her into the seat. The contact was injured when her body slammed into the steering column and windshield. A police report was filed. The current and failure mileages were approximately 187,000.

My 2000 Ford Excursion involved in a rear end collision - Excursion rear ended another vehicle - air bags did not deploy on 8/3/05. Excursion was traveling 60 mph and the other vehicle was stopped. I purchased the vehicle used from a Ford dealer. I contacted Ford Motor Company 8/9/05 to request an investigation in to why the air bags failed to deploy. The insurance is going to total out the vehicle. I would like the air bag failure to be investigated before I loose control of the vehicle by settling with the insurance company. There were no warning signs that the air bags were defective. I can provide pictures if needed.

The vehicle was involved in an accident. The vehicle was traveling at 40 mph and hit the passenger side of another vehicle. The air bags did not deploy.

Passenger side airbag warning light stays on. When I brought the vehicle to be repaired at the dealer I was informed that a new assembly needed to be ordered due to a defective one. I was also told that the airbag may not deploy in an accident. I brought it back and had it fixed. The same problem has occurred and another airbag assembly must be installed.
