Expedition 4WD

Upon startup of motor, will not idle or will die completely when stopped at intersection or when releasing accelerator when making a turn, causing motor to die and loss of steering and braking. I have complained to dealer and they said it was throttle body linkage (butterfly) sticking and it has occurred on several of friends trucks as well. Fix is new throttle body part @ $300., not under warranty. I feel this is dangerous and widespread and should be retro done under an extended warranty by manufacturer.
