99 Ford Expedition blew out #3 spark plug and damaged coil, no forewarning of this, has 114,000miles, cost me $400 for a temp fix, ,was told this is a common problem with the 5.4 engine, garage installed a repair sleeve and special plug, ,no warranty, ,I was 800 miles from home, when the plug blew, I thought somebody took a shot at me...it also ruined the coil.

Many Ford trucks have a "water intrusion" problem leading to serious safety issues. Some of their windshields are not sealed properly -in a hard rain water leaks into the fuse box causing an electrical burning, causing the vehicle to stop running instantly! Ford is aware of this and is failing to address it.

I have a 1999 Ford Expedition. The cable holding the spare tire under the car broke as I was driving down the road. The tire fell onto the road as well as the piece of metal that holds the tire in place. Luckily I was driving about 25 mph. No other damage occurred to my car or any others. It was the original spare tire, I lower and raise it once in a while to check the tire pressure.

I was slowly backing into a parking space behind the office building that I work at going approximately 4 to 5 mph (just crawling). I have been backing into the same area for over 15 years. As I lightly stepped on the gas pedal, vehicle lurched backwards hitting the building squarely causing extensive damage as it was a powerful hit. This had happened two other times when the car was driven by my husband and parents. Those two separate incidents had occurred in other areas where there was ample room to react.

Engine check light has been on for several months. When I contacted bird-kulgen Ford, wes told me it was an emmission problem and a computer check would need to be done. It was and the computer could not find the problem... now they are in trial and error and labor intensive time...just began today but others may be having the same problem, so I wrote to you.

This is a replacement vehicle from Ford for my 1999 Ford Expedition. The replacement vehicle has many of the same problems. The stalling when accelerating in an intersection is a serious safety problem. We we're nearly T- boned. Ford sometimes admits that they are aware of the problems and then at times will deny them. Please investigate
