2000 Expedition horn failed. When the horn failed to operate an accident occurred and the air bags failed to deploy. On a previous occasion, the consumer experienced problems with the cruise control and the ABS. The consumer stated the cruise control has been replaced 4 times and the horn was replaced 3 times. The consumer believed the continued failures of the ABS and horn were due to an electrical short in the wiring.

While driving 25 mph consumer's vehicle was involved in a frontal collision. Upon impact, both frontal air bags failed to deploy. Driver and passenger sustained minor injuries, and were transported to a hospital. The vehicle was towed to a garage.

While driving 30 mph, the front tie rod separated and the consumer lost control of the vehicle. The seat belt did not restrain the consumer properly and the air bag did not deploy. 4 days later the consumer received a letter in the from Ford warning him about possible tie rod failure, the consumer stated the VIN and other information was wrong which may have delayed receiving the mail.

While driving the SRS light appeared on the dashboard and remained on. Vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that the clock spring needed to be replaced, and replaced it.

Consumer's vehicle was involved in a frontal collision. Upon impact, both frontal air bags failed to deploy. The SRS light appeared on the dashboard and remained on. This caused the driver to sustain major injuries, and was transported to a hospital. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection. The cause had not been determined.

While driving at 50 mph and trying to avoid a vehicle that stopped in the middle of the road. The consumer's vehicle collided head on with a telephone pole. The consumer was wearing seat belts, but the air bags did not deploy. The consumer sustained head injuries. The police did arrive on the scene and cited the other consumer.

While driving at 50 mph consumer was involved in a front end collision. Upon impact the air bags did not deploy. Also, air bag warning light did not appear prior to the crash. Consumer wore a seat belt. No injury reported. A police report was issued.

While driving about 45 mph on the highway another vehicle broad sided consumer's vehicle on the driver's side. Upon impact, both frontal air bags did not deploy. Driver was injured, and transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Initial contact with oncoming vehicle at 35 mph. No air bags wnet off. Bounced off car and hit a telephone pole straight on the front of the vehicle and again no air bags went off.

Neither collision ignited the air bags to deploy. A Ford rep informed consumer that the impact did not set off the inertia switch. There are pictures available upon request.

Major front end collision. Seat belt was on - driver sole occupant. Air bag did not deploy. Ford was notified, and to date has done nothing to explain why the airbag did not deploy. Vehicle is available for inspection, but Ford has not chosen to look at it, and cannot offer any reason why the airbag would not deploy in such a crash. Driver struck chest on steering wheel, and it is beleived seat belt did not tighten either.

While stopped at a light my vehicle was rear-ended by a delivery truck. Causing me to smash into the front and sash into the rear of a tractor trailor resulting in massive damage to the front and rear of my vehicle, and injuries to myself and passenger. I am complaining because both airbags did not deploy.
