Expedition EB 5.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

A/C just stopped blowing cold air. Had freon added and no change. Replaced dryer, expansion valve and accumulator...nothing. This car is junk. I've had two engines replaced the first out of pocket because the recall was not active. Now it takes forever to turn over when starting it. After that the entire steering column had to be replaced out of pocket. Now there is a recall on that. Its constantly one thing after the other with this piece of junk!!!! Hyundai needs to refund everybody's money on these cars.

My battery died. I jumped the car off and I had two problems. 1, the A/C unit was blowing hot air full blast. 2, the control head went out and I couldn't shut it off. They said the "low voltage" from the battery might have caused this problem - who know....

The ac blew only warm air...summer here in Portland gets hot and having 3 kids driving around was miserable!!! Only had my car for about 5 months and dealt with repair after repair...dealership found expansion valve leaking and replaced it...part of it was covered but I still had to pay!!!
