Expedition Eddie Bauer 4.6L V8

In looking at this site I see the issue I'm dealing with is very similar to what's been diagnosed with 2000 vintage Ford Focus. I'm taking it in tomorrow to the dealer to see about a fix, but wondering if the ignition issue has been seen in Fords other than the Focus.
