The contact owns a 2004 Ford Expedition. The rear windshield wiper became stuck on the glass and would not move. As he attempted to manually remove the wipers, the glass from the windshield shattered. The dealer was contacted and a technician concluded that because there were no recalls and the warranty expired, he was ineligible for a free remedy. The failure mileage was 124,000.
