problem #1

My truck just died and would not start back up! I have read & read & read!!! This seams to be a BIG DEAL with no gas making it to the front of the truck, suv 5.4L. We thought it was the fuel pump while taking off parts to try and figure the problem first the fuel mogul HAD to be replaced because of its aluminum housing getting eat away by mud, salt, and grim. Hoping for a easy fix that was not the problem but still had to fix it sooner or later $100 part only.

Then we took out the fuel pump and tested it, we thought that was it but NO $300 part only (that was our mistake). Took out pieces in the back of the truck (inside) to find the "reset" button, checked another "reset" "fuss" what ever that is on the driver side under the hood on the fire wall (frame) of truck next to radiator. The best we can tell it is good.

We have checked #12 fuse. We can put starter spray in the intake? (maybe) that's the right place my husband did it, I am just writing the compliant but it WOULD START and run for just a short time 1 minute or so. STILL IT WILL NOT START after that wears off, I have read 303 which is not replaceable on your own it has to go back to dealership so it can be reprogrammed to you truck. Not sure what the cost or even if this is for sure the fix? I read of people driving their truck and it just die I would think that could be deadly if a person was driving 70 mph and lost control of breaks, steering!
