Expedition

  • 60,000 miles
The contact owns a 2006 Ford Expedition equipped with Continental Contitrac TR tires, sized 265/70/R17 with a dot number of A3T645rw. The contact stated that while driving approximately 70 mph, the tread on the drivers side rear tire separated and the contact began to lose control of the vehicle. As a result, extensive damaged was inflicted on the rear bumped and tail lights. The contact was able to regain control of the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified and informed the contact that there were no recalls for the stated tires. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileages were 60,000.
