The wiring harness for the #4 COP sits on top of the A/C line. After a while, the wire will be rubbed in half causing a bad misfire.

Took vehicle into Ford dealer as they are supposed to be the product experts.....
Tech doing the work ultimately broke off 7 of 8 spark plugs.
The repair bill for changing spark plugs is over $1900.
Customers should not have to pay this much for a design fault from Ford. There are plenty of TSB's out on this issue, it is a well known problem. They do not stand behind their product.
This will be the last product I buy from this company..

Vehicle was experiencing a knocking and hesitation under acceleration. Took care of knocking with cam phaser replacement (separate complaint), but hesitation remained. Back to Ford dealer we go and they diagnose the hesitation as a misfire in cylinder #5 (why couldn't they diagnose this on the first trip)? #5 plug and coil needed replaced. I asked if all other plugs/coils should be replaced too, Ford said no need. Of course the plug broke off when Ford went to extract, which added $60 to the repair bill. All in all, $450 spent to replace one plug and coil.
Left dealership, couple days later vehicle was still hesitating under acceleration. Back to Ford dealer we go. They diagnose (for a nice fee) once again and can't find anything wrong with the engine. Went to an independent repair shop and found out engine was bad (separate complaint).
