The contact owns a 2008 Ford Expedition. The contact stated that after dispensing fuel into the fuel tank to the half or full capacity, the fuel would overflow onto the ground. The vehicle was taken to both an authorized dealer and independent mechanic. The fuel tank hoses were cleaned and the failure continued to occur. The manufacturer was made aware of the faulty fuel tank. The failure mileage was approximately 49,000. Updated 06/03/11
