The contact owns a 2010 Ford Expedition. While the vehicle was parked, the contact noticed corossion around the passenger side liftgate. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the liftgate needed to be refinished. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired a second time. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 40,000.
