The contact owns a 2013 Ford Expedition. The vehicle experienced independent braking while being operated at 70 mph. The failure occurred without warning. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but the failure could not be duplicated. In addition, the fuel gauge and speedometer failed to display correct information. The dealer (friendly Ford of crosby, 2425 us-90 bus, crosby, tx) diagnosed that the transmission module failed and recommended it be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided case number: 15410976. The failure mileage was 86,000.
