Opened the sunroof, and then it would not close. Not a item that we use allot, but this time, when we went to close, it would not lock in place to seal. Called a few places (dealerships) to see what it might cost to fix, and was reported at 1200.00 just for one of the parts. Took it to a dealership, where they said "both" tracks have broken. The tracks are made out of plastic.
Everywhere we called, we were told that this is a known problem with ford sunroofs. That there are no aftermarket parts for just the tracks or clips and that it is a very expensive item to fix. I can't believe that on high end vehicles, Ford would allow such an item to just keep generating revenue for their repair shops.
