The contact owns a 2017 Ford Expedition. The contact stated that the driver's door frequently opened without warning. The contact took the vehicle to thurby's riverside Ford (4497 national pike, markleysburg, pa 15459, (800) 531-3303) where it was repaired, but the failure continued. The manufacturer was notified and did not assist. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA campaign number: 17V652000 (latches/locks/linkages), which applied to the 2015 Ford F-150. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 5,000.
