Expedition

The contact-??s daughter owns a 2018 Ford Expedition. The contact stated that she noticed that her daughter-??s vehicle made an abnormal sound at start up. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the cam phaser had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and offered to pay half the cost for the repair. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.
