Ok So i recently bought a 1993 ford explorer. Then the other day when i was going to go to the grocery store I got in the suv and it just would start or anything. The gears wouldn't move and the suv wouldn't start. It was about two hours later that i realized that i needed to put the key in the ignition and crank it manually.

I don't know what's wrong with the freaking truck. I will crank and drive like a gem for about 3 weeks, but then one morning when I'm late for work, fiance' has pissed me off and I have to run 3 errands on my break it will not crank. I can let it sit for about 3 hours and it will crank. The only warning I have is about 3 jerks and it cuts off. It is not the battery because I have power. I am annoyed because it starts when it wants and gas is too high to fill up the tank and have it not go anywhere.
