Have had extensive transmission and transfer case problems with this vehicle. I have replaced the transmission three times.

The drive gear in the transfer case failed and was replaced, 27K miles later the problem reoccured, the consumer believes that an incorrect component was installed, therefore causing it to fail again, while this was being repaired the dealer tore the door molding and the dash lights became inoperative.

When vehicle was engaged in 4-wheel drive high at a low speed (28 mph), hit black ice and threw vehicle across hwy. Vehicle rolled on one side, skidded and came up again. Vehicle has been repaired. The 4X4 wheeltransfer motor failed.

While driving, on three different occasions at approx. 25-50mph, experienced transfer case failure, didn't transfer power to front wheels, engine runs, won't move, as though in neutral, renders vehicle totally inoperative, in contact with zone representative.
