The contact owns a 1995 Ford Explorer. While driving approximately 25 mph the front drivers side seat belt became unbuckled. The failure recurred intermittently while driving at any speed. He also mentioned that it sometimes takes repeated attempts to get the seat belt to initially buckle. The vehicle was not taken to be examined for the cause of failure, but an authorized dealer was notified and he was informed to replace the seat belt. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 80,000 and the current mileage was 83,000. The VIN was unavailable.

Seat belt just popped out took it to Ford dealership to require about it and was told that it was broken and it would cost me $112 to have the seat belt replace. What if I was in a car accident and the seat belt didn't hold up to the requirements it would be to late to complain.
