Windshield washer will not spray fluid on the windshield unless it's pushed hard repeatedly, also the windshield wipers come on for no apparent reason.

Washer function only intermittently. Wipers often stop or work at arbitrary, intermittent speeds. Dealer said they fixed it but it stopped working shortly thereafter. Didn't have the energy to argue with them. This problem has been going onn since about a year after car was purchased. I saw a news article aboput the problem and thought I would contribute another report. Thanks!

Windshield defect causing poor visibility in line of vision, replacement of windshield & wiper arm did not correct the problem.
