I've had the vehicle for about a year now I'm a college student so i have limited funding. but the last couple weeks have been hell! first over night the battery would die it was cold out so it was reasonable enough to say I'll just take the negative off when I'm done driving for the day, so i do this for about a week. then one sunshine afternoon she dies from just 30 minutes of me being in the store. houston we have a problem so i take it to go get the battery checked they say its good just needs charging. the next day at the drive through she starts choking then dies. i got a jump and got home. now i know its the alternator so i get it checked its a piece of crap so i get a new one and change it myself so i know the connections are all in order but it dies again so i go get a new battery. replace it at the store turn it on about to leave and the battery light is still on so i ask the guy if its normal and he said it was gana be on for a little while. later that week im going down the road when a semi tries to run me off the road and in avoiding an accident i spin out and stall it. then it wont start. state patrol comes by give a jump and she runs fine for about twenty minuets then the windshield whippers start slowing down the battery light came on the power windows failed, and my instrument panel stopped working then it died completely now I'm sitting waiting for the o'l man to get here with a flat bed to take her home and diagnose this pain in the ass problems

My problem first was that the check engine light stayed on. Then, after running out of gas, I filled the tank but the truck would not start. The battery was completely dead. I got a jump and the truck started. However, after driving it for a while, the battery went dead again and one of the maxi fuses blew. It was put on a diagnostic machine but the problem still could not be found. We replaced the battery and fuse, drove less than a half mile and the fuse blew again. It was put on the diagnostic again but nothing. The check engine light is still on and now my battery light is on and is reading that there is a low charge.
