- had fuel pump replaced (2 reports)
So not a year went by after I got my starter replaced and my car wont start again ! Mind you I just had the Trans fixed. So, the Fuel Pump goes bad.Reasons it can go bad is because of wrong gas in the car or low/no gas frequently. That could of been due to me because I ride around a 1/4 tank but be mindful of this.

Truck purchased used with 197,000 miles. Exhibited trouble codes relating to failing O2 sensor, multiple random misfires, and lean fuel conditions. Replaced O2 sensors, plugs, wires, fuel filter, thoroughly cleaned/seafoamed engine and fuel system.
Vehicle ran well in summer months, but would fail to start sometimes after driving for more than 20 minutes, and during cold winter months, would not start at all. Finally broke down and took to dealer where they determined the true problem was in fact merely the fuel pump.
Repair costs consisted of $85 diagnostic labor, $160~ new aftermarket fuel pump, and roughly $300 in labor. Once fixed, has yet to exhibit ANY other problems and still running strong.
