On 03/08/2013, a neighbor,/'s child knocked on my door and told my son that my 1996 ford explorer was on fire, My son tried to put the fire out, to no avail. He screamed my name and told me to get out of the house because the car was on fire. I was preparing for bed so I ran outside with no shoes or coat on. To my left, the care fire was blazing. I heard it blow up as I ran across the street. The fire destroyed my carport, and the siding on the house next door to me. Because of the age of the car, my insurance did not cover it for fire damage. The County that I live in towed the Ford away. Because of this fire, we had no electric, or heat for 3 days.
