Explorer XLT 4.0L V6

My Explorer is not normal at all. One of the most annoying problems is that if it's cold outside, it gives you cold air for awhile. Then it makes aloud pop, then boom, it's hot. The opposite happens when it's hot. I swear my car is out to get me.
