I am not bashing on American cars, but I have owned three so far that were junk. My latest is a Ford Explorer that has a roar from the differential, brake calipers that constantly bind or have issues, and a check engine light that is on. I am a decent mechanic, so I fixed the brakes and check engine light, but the differential noise is a royal pain in the ass! I will stop owning American cars PERIOD! They lose so much value after the first 3 years, look dated after 2 years, and they start having problems at 75,000 miles. It gets 13 mpg and makes 2 different noises. I will give it to the high school kid down my street. He has auto mechanic class and will have loads of fun fixing this piece of sh*t.

On a side note...It's no wonder Chrysler and GM are broke. Ford will be the only one alive in 5 years, and that will be on International sales. How many loyal "Buy Americans" are there now? I owned a few Toyota pickups, 1 Honda Accord, and 1 Nissan Maxima. All ran right through 140,000 miles with NO problems. I mean ZERO problems! How is it possible that the "Big 3" have the best engineers in the world and still they produce crap like this! I am starting to see how so many Americans drive Japanese cars. How many Asians do you see driving American cars? American companies are bankrupt and now Toyota sales passed GM for the first time in history. Even WITH the numbers of GM cars sold as "fleet" and "government" vehicles. There are a few okay American cars. The rest are ALL pieces of sh*t. The only American vehicle anyone should buy is a Diesel Pickup. Only because Toyota has not made a 3/4 Ton Diesel Tundra yet.
