How will a mechanic stay under the hood if the hood could fall on them. Also, I cannot hold the hood up while checking my fluids at the same time. I will complain to Ford about this. This is a safety hazard

hood no longer stays open and unlike the Eddie Bauer version the XLT doesn't have lift struts - just hinges.
