I was traveling on the 280 freeway in san francisco traveling at 70 mph. I noticed the back of the vehicle started to sway to the side and the wheel of the vehicle was agile. After about a minute, I pulled to the side of the road. I walked to the rear of the vehicle and noticed that the right rear tire was completely torn apart. I am now concerned because of the recent recall of the Firestone tires. However, my tires were not manufactured at the Decatur( dot number: Tire size: P235/75R15 )

The tires have multiple stress cracks around the tread area on all four tires. I have been to 2 Firestone dealers as well as the car dealer and they would not even check them. I was told they were not involved in the recall. I understand that this is the wrong tire number, but my tires look unsafe. This tire has been recalled in other countries and other complaints have been filed regarding this tire. I have contacted many sources and was told not to drive at high speeds or when the weather is hot. That is not a solution. I look forward to your help with this matter.( dot number: Uncu1px368 tire size: P255/70R16 )

Monday, July 31, 2000, I was driving home from the grocery store and my driver side rear tire blew out, the front passenger side tire I was having air capacity problems with for 2 weeks. Ford road side assistance came and changed my tire and put my original spare on the driver's side. I went to Firestone and they replaced the tire with a new Firestone Wilderness AT on the driver's side rear and patched the front passenger tire. With the pending Firestone Wilderness AT tire recall on Ford Explorer, I feel fortunate that I was not travelling at an excessive speed on central expressway. I would like the potential danger noted, I had called my car dealership westway Ford and they had directed me to Firestone who carries the warranty on the tires. They were very helpful, yet Firestone replaced the original tire with the same potentially dangerous tire. Your response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, lara bullock( dot number: Tire size: At )

I have been inflating my tires to the Ford specifications, when my local Ford dealer "inspected" the tires in regard to a "recall" they said it was not defective because the "code" was ok.they made no recomendation for a proper inflation pressure!should I follow the manufacturers recomendation" will I be dead when they relize these tires are defective?will I be the lead story on the nightly news before Firestone replaces them?I can not trust Ford or Firestone to do the right thing!!please use your power to protect the american public !!( dot number: ???" tire size: P235/75R15 )

Tire was flat in the morning following five hours of continuous driving the previous day/evening. Possibly due to sidewall puncture; concern that this may be related to Firestone tread separation issue. I only replaced this tire (I kept the failed tire for further analysis), but am seriously concerned over the quality of the remaining tires.( dot number: Tire size: P255/70R16 )
