The only way I could consistently have working wipers is by manually controlling the wiper switch by turning it to off position then on position repeatedly. This posed a very unsafe driving condition for me. Makes driving in

rain, snow or sleet very dangerous at low or high speeds on local roads and on expressway and also

dangerous because one hand has to be placed on the wiper switch at all times during bad weather. I also noticed that the wipers seem to work consistently when after the button for the windshield wiper fluid was pressed. Sometimes wipers come on even though in off position and vice versa. According to the mechanic it is an electrical issue and had been recalled. This is a serious safety hazard . I have put in a complaint against Ford.
