The window was fine until they did some type of recall work on it. After that it would not stay up. I was told(and have the invoice) that both of the rear struts on the window are bad and need replaced. They could fix it for $145.00. How coincidental that it worked until they fixed the recalled item. I did not repair it.

The rear window simply wont stay up this doesnt happen all the time just when you need it to....but you have to hold it up because its like the controls which usually do just arent there anymore

Sweeping snow off of the car when the window just slid down. Confused, I grab my keys and try to put the window up and it went up, but not all the way. Left a bout a 3 inch gap. Called and dropped it off at a local mechanic, 2 days later. Window is up and working fine.

Just one more thing wrong with this piece of crap.You cant even open the back window and put something in the back with out using one hand to hold up the glass.The back tailgate will stay up but when you open just the rear glass it falls.I'm just waiting for the glass to shatter next beens I see where there's a problem with that on here as well.

Ford did a recall for the rear window supports. I had them replaced under the recall. Now 6 years later, the window will not stay up. Ford says tough luck. This is not only agravating, it is dangerous

FORD RECALLED THE REAR WINDOW, HOWEVER, THE ONE THEY REPLACED DOESN'T STAY UP SO YOU BANG YOUR HEAD IF YOU'RE NOT REALLY WATCHING. IN COLD WEATHER IT WON'T STAy UP AT ALL. THE DEALER SAID I'D HAVE TO PAY FOR A NEW ONE, I TOLD HIM THE OLD ONE WORKED JUST FINE AND ALWAYS STAYED UP, HE SAID THAT FORD HAD THEM REPLACE THE WINDOW WITH WHAT THEY PUT IN MY CAR. - GEECH - CAN'T EVEN KEEP IT UP WITH A STICK. ANOTHER RIP TO US WHO HAVE TO PUT OUT A BETTER PRODUCT THAN FORD.

Purchased my truck in 2002 ,started having problems in 2004. my front window stopped going up or down, my back window started sliding down has I am was driving . Very hard to keep your children and yourself cool in a place were the temp. in the summer is over 115 degrees. I have not been able to fix my windows. I call ford to find out how much it would take to fix my window about $ 400 to $600 dollars. Sorry I do not have that type of money to spend on fixing the windows. Window are not fix at this present moment and be are in year 2014.
