Crack developed without apparent cause in plastic panel below the rear window. I've noticed this in many other Explorer of similar years.

2003 Ford Explorer. The back door panel that has the Ford emblem on it is cracked in half from the top to the bottom next to the emblem. I see many of them like this. Ford wants me to pay for this defect. It's their defect. Updated 09/16/08.
