problem #1

Explorer XLS 4.0L

We were on mountainous roads of Eastern Tennessee when the headlights started dimming along with the interior lights. Then both sets of lights went out for about 2 seconds while driving. It was scary. Our mechanic back home had replaced the multifunction switch and said the problem was the headlamp assembly. We are currently waiting on the part from Ford.

Update from Aug 13, 2014: Since the headlamp assembly was replaced, we have had no more issues.
