I was told by my mechanic that the handle on the door that allows the defrost to operate was broke off. Not sure why this would ever occur. I was told it would cost close to $1,000 to fix. It is now a safety hazard whereas window will not defrost in bad weather. I was wondering if this was a defect, and others had this problem?
