problem #3

Feb 012010

Explorer V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

The main problem is that I am told by the Dealer Rock River Ford that no pcm board is available until August 2010. I am told all new boards produced are faulty and they have to remanufacture the pcm board and test it in the market before they can repair my car. This is covered under warranty but in the mean time I have to drive it with malfunctioning gauges and dash lights for 7 months. I sure hope it does not cause an accident.

Explorer LX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 18,000 miles

Everytime I would try to trip the mileage gauge it would not reset. My check engine came on and would not go out. Took All American ford a week to get the part to fix it.
