Explorer XLT V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 107,000 miles

We never raise or lower the seat with someone in the seat. There are three people who drive this car and range from 5 feet 6 inches to 6 feet 3 inches, so the seat must be moved to fit the driver. I also own a 1997 Ford Explorer with 210,000 miles and the electric seat still works. There is no reason for the seat to break on the 2005. Ford needs to fix so the consumer does not have out of pocket expense, this is not something that was abused.
