(reported on)

Explorer XLT

  • 19,038 miles

The driver's seat moves a short amount when stopping, taking off from a stop, and going around corners. This occurs about thirty percent of the time. In certain seat positions it is more pronounced than others and the seat can be moved laterally in some positions of adjustment. This problem was supposedly fixed by the dealer on 5/23/2006 by installation of clips per TSB 050416 and covered by warranty. The fix was not successful and the problem still exists. I will notify the dealer that the problem still exists and will upchannel my complaint to the Ford Zone Rep. if necessary.
