Explorer Limited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 86,000 miles

I have always being a Ford loyal customer, this is my 3rd Explorer and never really had any problems before but this problem I have now with the paint in the roof is getting worse, very rusted and I am afraid is going to end up going thru. I also noticed this ugly crack in the back door panel. I really hope that Ford will help on the repair of this problem. I always take a very good care of my vehicles and this is very annoying.

Explorer XLT 4.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 89,000 miles

excessive rust on gas tank. have owned a 2005 XLT explorer for over 5 year year - As truck is reaching 85000 miles problems are starting to show - from the engine light that is always going off - to new rust showing from the bullshit casing that is to stop water around the tires which is allow water to rust from inside - now the paint is starting to flake and peel. To cracks and other annoying issues. I can't believe a car manufacture can get away with this sh*t. We are all hard working people paying top dollar for our vehicle only to have the car company look the other way.

Our government should place stricter policies for car caompanies to fix know issues as long as the cards are on the streets.
