Sunshine kids radian 80sl convertible car seat. When installed rear-facing with latch, the adjuster mechanism ends up on the edge of the belt path, preventing the belt from staying tight, even without any interference. It can cause a person to think that the seat is tightly installed when it is not. The only solution is to install with the seat belt. (related vehicle information: Model year=2006, make=Ford, model=Explorer).
