Explorer Limited 3.5L Ti-Vct V6

I purchased this 2011 Ford Explorer Limited about a month ago.From about day 4 or 5, I started to hear a humming noise coming from the Transmission (I think).I returned it to the dealer and they agreed that there was a humming coming from somewhere under the vehicle.They then told me that the technician took another new Explorer for a drive and he can hear the hum coming from that vehicle so it must a normal characteristic of the vehicle.

I called Ford customer service and they are stymied as to why their all new Explorer is humming I refuse to believe that after all the money that Ford spent developing their all new 2011 Explorer,it is a normal characteristic of the vehicle.All parties involved have been polite and courteous to me but they have no answer other than to say that it is normal.

Can anyone out ther suggest a fix or tell me who to go to next for help?
