problem #2

Dec 022019

Explorer XLT 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 140,000 miles

Strange noises started coming from the glove compartment and the heat to the passenger side stopped working shortly afterward. I brought it in to the dealer to be fixed and 2 weeks later the noise came back. This noise is apparently a precursor to failure. This vehicle has been nothing but problems.

Explorer Limited Eco Boost

  • Automatic transmission
  • 150,000 miles

2013 Explorer Ecoboost passenger side vent got stuck on cold, tried putting heater on changing the vent path, on/off and nothing looked it up on YouTube and turns out it’s the Blend door actuator. $200for parts and labor at dealership but $30 at Autozone if you want to fix it yourself, I linked a video of how to replace it
