Explorer XLT

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

The paint is beginning to bubble on the roof of the vehicle. If ford doesn't fix the paint issues I may never buy Ford again.

Explorer XLT 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 49,710 miles

My 2013 Explorer began showing paint bubbles on symmetrical sides of the roof line, just above the windshield. I contacted Ford but was given the line that the vehicle is beyond its warranty (just) and there is nothing they can do. I can't believe a 45k vehicle would start to have paint bubbles and peel away in under 3 years.

Explorer is less than year old and now this. Body shop has taken photos, now waiting on FORD to approve or deny warranty repair. Plus add the power steering issue recall, not a happy customer.
